GraphSim's Jeff Morgan this morning told IMG that Black & White for the Mac has been delayed for about two weeks. According to Morgan, the original developer, Lionhead Studios, has requested the delay in order to do some final testing on the product.
Last week GraphSim was allowed to sell a limited quantity of Black & White to Macworld Expo attendees. Shipments to retailers, however, have been delayed until Lionhead gives the final go-ahead.
Morgan sent IMG this note:
The Black & White Gold Master is being reviewed for full worldwide retail release. Approval is anticipated very shortly. Lionhead showed confidence in the GM by approving B&W sales at the Macworld show held in SF last week. When Black & White gets closer to shipping, we'll be sure to let you know. Black & White is available for pre-order through the GraphSim web site. If you're a MacGames CD subscriber, you can pre-order Black & White for just $39 via the IMG Web Store.
