Aspyr to Publish 4x4 Evolution 2

To kick off Macworld Expo with a bang, Aspyr Media today announced that it will be publishing 4x4 Evolution 2 for the Mac. The Mac version of this game virtually disappeared off the radar when Gathering of Developers was bought out by Take 2 Interactive. (The PC version shipped a few months ago.) Now, however, 4x4 Evolution 2 for the Mac is alive and well, thanks to Aspyr.
Aspyr sent out this note to IMG just a few moments ago:
Less than 72 hours until the kick-off of Macworld San Francisco 2002. We'll have plenty of fun announcements for the show but we thought we'd let this cat out of the bag:For more information on 4x4 Evolution 2, be sure to visit the Aspyr web site. Also be sure to tune in the IMG early next week as we'll be bringing you more news on 4x4 Evolution 2 from the show floor at Macworld Expo San Francisco.

4x4 Evolution 2 will soon be available for the Mac!
Developed for the PC and Mac by Terminal Reality, 4x4 Evo 2 puts your racing skills to the test in a new mission-based adventure system as you explore,
rescue, and compete. 4x4 Evo 2 also gives you the option to go online and race against "fresh meat."
Off-road racing has reached the next stage in evolution! With over 120 top of the line off-road monsters to choose from, the mud-slingin', rock-stompin' fun can go on for days on end! You'll be sloppin' through some of the most treacherous terrain on the planet!
4x4 Evo 2 will be playing on machines at Macworld San Francisco, next week. Some minor final bugs are being squashed and the game is expected to go into duplication at the end of the month. Not too shabby.
4x4 Evo 2 is rated E for Everyone by the ESRB and is currently available for preorder via our online store (SRP $39.95). System Requirements will be released soon.
