Computer gaming industry veteran David Joost has announced the opening of his new independent freelance sales and marketing operation at www.DavidJoost.com. Joost offers over sixteen years of experience in professional sales and a wealth of strategic alliances to offer a variety of services for computer and video game developers and publishers and other types of clients.
Some of the services Joost will provide include assistance with product placement and sales at retail and wholesale, marketing consultation, and press relations. In addition, Joost will act as a broker for a host of other vital services, such as retail box design and printing, manufacturing and fulfillment, retail display and imaging, trade show exhibit design and manufacturing, and web site design.
Developers and publishers can also look to www.DavidJoost.com for music and sound design for computer and video games and other software programs, including composition, programming, voice talent, sound effects, and access to a state-of-the-art multi-track recording facility.
Joost told IMG:
After eight exciting years in the entertainment software field, I'm thrilled to be "going solo." I like the idea of working with independent publishers and helping them reach a larger audience by placing their products with retailers like CompUSA and MicroCenter. In today's challenging economy, even though a company might have a great game, they may find it impractical to hire a complete sales and marketing staff. I'm hoping I can draw on my years of experience and the relationships I've developed to provide a solution. As he begins his new venture, Joost's initial partners are the Bold brand by Destineer Studios, Freeverse Software, Andre's Imaging and Graphics, and Sound Creations.
