GameSpot is reporting a new map will soon be released for Return to Castle Wolfenstein. Called "Trench Toast," the new map will be available for users with the full retail version and the PC demo. We've already put some questions to Westlake Interactive and Aspyr Media about the feasibility of a Mac version of the updated demo, and we'll bring you more info as soon as we receive it.

With the full Mac retail version not due until next month, an updated demo would surely be appreciated by Mac gamers over the holiday. but it may be too late for anyone to do anything before vacations begin. Trench Toast does sound fun, though, according to GameSpot's report:

Trench Toast is a terrain-based map that features lots of fortifications and sniper positions, as well as a number of canals and trenches for players to use as cover. The new map supports far more players—up to 32—than the original checkpoint map included in Wolfenstein, and it features lots of hidden areas and a wide-open style rather than the streets featured in the other checkpoint map.
