MacSoft Redesigns Web Site
8:00 AM | Andy Largent | Comment on this story
After much anticipation from fans and press alike, MacSoft has finally given its official web site a complete overhaul with a new design and better navigation. The new pages include a section for products, with each game and other program they have published getting its own, clean page. There is also a place for demos and archived news, as well as a slightly outdated links page.
MacSoft explains the new site is not meant to be permanent, but is rather a transitional phase into parent company Infogrames's family of sites:
Work on this new site is continuing, and we expect a myriad of changes to occur as we move forward. Eventually, the MacSoft site will integrate the overarching design features of the Infogrames family of websites, so this new design is a transitional step on the way to bigger and better things. In the meantime, we hope you'll find this site more attractive and easier to navigate.A quick scan through the MacSoft products page shows some titles that have yet to be released, like Beach Head 2002. Civilization III is also listed, on which the good folks at Westlake are hard at work; they expect to be finished very early next year.
