Freeverse Software, known for their fantastic shareware card games, has released a demo of WingNuts, a fun top-down scrolling arcade game. In the game, you take off from your aircraft carrier and have to hunt down Baron von Schtopwatch's robot planes. Here's more information on the game: Dozens of cool aircraft to pursue, including bi-planes, blimps and helicopter gunships. Avoid enemy air-mines, ground installations and destroyers. Equip your jet with heat-seeking missiles and cluster bombs. Power-up for supershots! Rescue your buddies. A hot soundtrack, spectacular graphics, and crazy gameplay makes WingNuts an adrenaline addict's dream. The modest system requirements are as follows:
- MacOS 8.6 or later (with CarbonLib)
- 333 MHz G3 or better
- 55 MB available RAM
- Rage 128 or better
- OpenGL
- QuickTime 4 or later
