The MacSoft web site has been updated with some great news for Mac gamers this November. The long-awaited 3D RPG Vampire: The Masquerade is now GM (gold master). This means the game has been sent off for duplication, and indeed some of our readers report seeing it in their local stores.
Vampire, developed by Nihilistic, features some amazing 3D graphics, an engrossing story line that spans ages, and RPG-like elements to offset its action-oriented gameplay. For much more information, be sure to check out IMG's extensive preview.
Myth III: The Wolf Age is the other MacSoft game many players can't wait to get started. While the Mac version of the game is still being tweaked, the company is confident the MumboJumbo team can make a November release:
Myth III is very nearly complete, and MacSoft is gearing up for this amazing new entry in the legendary Myth series. Set a thousand years before the events depicted in Myth and Myth II, Myth III brings true 3D and a revolutionary level of detail to the series while retaining the furious gameplay and intricate storytelling that have made us all fans of the Myth series so far. In other news, value titles Wheel of Fortune, 2nd Edition and Jeopardy, 2nd Edition are both ready to go. We reported Westlake Interactive getting them to GM late in October, so look for these sequels very soon. Also expected in time for the holiday shopping season is Survivor, a game based on the popular "reality TV" show.
Expect to see Myth 3 in stores in November. Expect to miss out on sleep immediately following.

Lastly, MacSoft makes an intriguing note about changes to their web site. As you may notice when digging through their pages, many are outdated, and we hope a new design will coincide with these many awesome new games. We'll keep you posted as any new information is revealed.
