E3: Tentative MacSoft Release Dates

In addition to our discussions with MacSoft regarding Civilization III and Master of Orion III, they have released new information about their other aquisitions from Take Two Interactive. As we reported last week, their currently announced games are Tropico, Fly! II,
Master of Orion 3, Sid Meier's Civilization 3, and Max
Payne. The three unannounced games will be
revealed prior to MacWorld New York in July. Tropico
and Fly! II should be playable at MWNY, and shipping around that time as well. MOO3 is
being developed simultaneously with the Windows
version in-house by Quicksilver Software, for a
release in early 2002. MacSoft is currently searching
for a developer for Civilization 3. The plan is to
release Civ 3 soon after the Windows version, which
is scheduled for a Fall 2001 release. Keep watching IMG for even more updates from the expo!
