Control Command Escape recently posted a new review of Harebrained Schemes' Shadowrun: Dragonfall, the first expansion for its Kickstarter funded Shadowrun Returns. The addition to the magic-meets-cyberpunk tactical RPG features a new 12+ hour campaign set in Berlin, the much requested Save Anywhere feature, new enemies, new weapons, new items, and new features for the game editor.
Early on youíre also given a ragtag bundle of characters who serve as your team. These characters exist in the game world, so you can have conversations with them in-between each mission, taking a page out of Dragon AgeĎs book (thereís also a dog that will follow you around, because thatís some sort of requirement in RPGs made in the last decade, although it doesnít do anything). You can pick and choose team members to accompany you on each mission, or you can spend your in-game cash to hire mercenaries like you could in The Dead Manís Switch. Thereís also at least one other potential team member to acquire over the course of the game.Read on at the link below.
