Mac Gamer HQ recently unveiled its list of 2013's Best Mac Games, proving that 2013 was the year of BioShock Infinite. Other titles on the list include Civilization V: Brave New World, StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm, XCOM: Enemy Unknown, and Fez.
BioShock Infinite is so good it competed for Game of the Year on every platform out there.†The story alone can put BioShock Infinite in no matter what Top 10 out there. But the reason it earned the absolute number one spot, is because the gameplay and graphics are almost as good as the story, and that says a lot.Head over to the page below to read more and to check out a video montage of game footage from this year's best.
Mac Gamer HQ: 2013's Best Mac Games
The shooting mechanics are solid and reliable and the graphics are nothing short of impressive. Take Columbia for instance, the gameís flying city. At some points I had to stop and just absorb the breathtaking vistas Columbia had to offer.
And then thereís Elizabeth. Ah, Elizabeth. I have never seen such a fascinating NPC. She brings so much to the table and really helps drive the game home. Her facial animations are so well done, you can feel her sadness, happiness and anger. Iíve never cared for a NPC as much as I did †for her.
