Muse Games has announced the release of an update for its post-apocalyptic airship combat game, Guns of Icarus Online. Version 1.1.2 offers a variety of additions including a new weapon and a new map. The co-operative airship combat game mixes together first-person shooter action with team-based strategy, and is available now for Mac and Windows PCs.

Muse Games is excited to roll out version 1.1.2, which introduces a new heavy weapon: The Lumberjack Mortar, an excellent long range balloon killer. Additionally a new map, Canyon Ambush, is available with a Grand Canyon-eque feel and lots of rock walls to crash into. Finally, 21 new costumes with free unlocks for completing achievements and a special holiday gift just for logging in!

Those are the new features, but there's also a variety of changes and improvements as usual with every update. In 1.1.2 the capture modes have been reworked to make a better experience in Resource Race and King of the Hill, bugs have been fixed, performance has been improved, and the UI has been polished a little further.

Guns of Icarus Online is the first co-operative airship combat game mixing together first-person shooter action with team-based strategy. Up to four people will crew a ship, taking on one of the key roles of Captain, Gunner, or Engineer joining a team and fighting against other ships above the post-apocalyptic waste. In Guns of Icarus Online, it will take teamwork and tactics to dominate the skies.
