One of the Christmas presents the newly-reformed MacPlay brought to the Mac platform was Majesty, a realtime RTS with some fascinating twists on the genre. Now a new Quest has been made available for download, hopefully one of many more to come. This quest used to be PC-only, but an updated Mac OS-compatible version has now been posted.

The new Quest is known as the Wrath of Krolm, and it weighs in around 2.3 MB. The download and installation process is quite simple, although you must manually unlock several files in your Majesty folder before replacing them. The new Quest will not work with the demo, obviously. You can find this new Quest at the official Majesty web site, hosted by creators Cyberlore. While you are at the sight you might want to peruse the details for a coming expansion pack for Majesty, known as
The Northern Expansion. While there are currently no firm plans for a port of this expansion to the Mac version of Majesty, our discussions with MacPlay spokesperson Jason Whong led us to believe that if Majesty sales are good, this would be a possibility.

Majesty itself has been a big hit with IMG readers and at MGF; the game has recieved a 9.11 (out of 10) user review score, beating the IMG reviewer score of 9.0. Downloaded almost 3,000 times, the demo has received a four and one-half joystick (out of 5 ) rating from MGF visitors.
