Inside Mac Games has posted a review of Sudoku - Latin Squares, a new version of the popular number puzzle. Here's a clip from the review:
In short, [Latin Squares are] a clever twist to a classic game. In a typical sudoku puzzle, there are nine boxes of nine squares each. Latin Squares gives you the option of going from a 3x3 grid all the way to a standard 9x9. But instead of using perfectly trisected cubes, the grid resembles a series of colored Tetris blocks. A 3x3 grid will have a series of 3-square sections jammed together, which a 9x9 grid can have sections that look as unruly as Gorbachevís cranial birthmark. Each colored segment has the same rules as a traditional sudoku segment, with no repeating numbers allowed in any one section, as well as no repeats in any column or row. The best way to understand this twist is to look at the screenshots, and a single game in 3x3 mode will make you want to challenge yourself in the larger grid configurations.Follow the link below to read the full review.
