Bungie's long awaited anime-inspired fighting game Oni has finally reached the Gold Master stage for PC, according to reports on Blues News and other sources. In our usual fashion we went directly to the source to see if the Mac version was also complete.

Bungie Studios spokesperson Matt Soell told us that the Mac version has not yet gone gold yet, but should be reaching that stage very soon. Previously, Soell has mentioned that the Mac and PC versions of the game share the same data files, a common arrangement in cross-platform titles, and thus only small tweaks to the application remain to be made.

Regardless of when the Mac and PC versions of this title go 'gold', the only official release date for the game is on January 27th, published by Gathering of Developers. Thus the declaration of the final version for Mac or PC only means that another waiting period begins...
