According to a post on Macologist.org, Homeworld has been updated for Mac OS X, bringing it to version 0.7. The update fixes some small annoyances within the game.
From the MacHomeworld forums:
The most notable fix is that the screen resolution now only changes once during launch. The previous double switch was very annoying - particularly during testing. It also upgrades HomeworldSDL to SDL 1.2.11.Mac users wishing to play Homeworld on their Mac using this alpha require a commercial PC version of the game, as well as a means to install it from a PC.
