Mac Pro Reviews, Benchmarks

Just days after Apple announced the new Intel-based Mac Pro towers, sites are now starting to report on the first round of reviews and benchmarks of the updated line of machines. Ars Technica has posted their full review of the tower, while Barefeats has taken a first spin at benchmarking the powerful machine.
Both compare the new "Quad" Xeon machines with the older PowerMac G5 towers, and with the exception of those applications not running natively on the Intel side of the house (like Photoshop, which isn't yet a Universal Binary), the newer towers seem to be a significant step-up in terms of performance. Be sure to check out both sites for the lowdown.
Additionally, PowerMax has taken some detailed screenshots of the new tower's internals. Have a look if you're curious to see how the Mac Pros look on the inside.
