Apple today, posted a feature on Out of the Park Baseball 2006 developed and published by Sports Interactive. Out of the Park Baseball is a simulation game that lets you manage your own baseball franchise, make the calls for plays, finance your team, and pick your coaches and scouts.
OOTP 2006 lets you tweak all kinds of rules, from free agency, which didnít exist in Major League Baseball until 1975, to the way your fantasy league handles its annual amateur draft. Note, though, that the most important settings canít be changed once youíve started the clock. For example, we started a league in 1927 with free agency and the amateur draft enabled, and we wound up with Babe Ruth leaving the New York Yankees for the New York Giants via free agency, while Mickey Mantle was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies when he entered professional baseball in 1950.The feature has an overview of an entire baseball season played using OOTP 2006, plus some Major League Baseball history timeline. Please follow the links below to read the feature and to learn more information.
