Today IMG posted a review and video review of Call of Duty 2. Published by Aspyr Media and developed by Infinity Ward, Call of Duty 2 is a first person that puts players in the thick of World War II's greatest battles. From the IMG Review:
Despite my many quibbles with it, I had a blast playing through CoD 2. Sure, I couldn't bring myself to boot it up for a few days because I got so sick of the British screaming about Jerries and MG42's, but it was still a lot of fun to climb up the grapples on D-Day and storm the trenches. Additionally, although the cinematic quality of the gameplay sacrificed a lot of realistic and immersive elements that I think would have added greatly to the game as a whole, it also added a lot of drama and made the gameplay more streamlined and possibly more rewarding than it would have been otherwise. To read the entire review, or see the video review, click the link below.

There are no doubt some downsides to the game, though; the great graphics come at the expense of pretty high system requirements, so the number of people able to play the game on their Macs will be limited. That you can play multiplayer with your PC friends online, however, means that there is a large pool of people available for a little WWII multiplayer madness if you so desire.
The bottom line is that Call of Duty 2 is a beautiful, cinematic game that, while it is not the realistic reliving of WWII that it promises, is still a very fun game to play and a worthy addition to any gamer's shelf.
