Game Industry recently posted a review of the PC version of Quake 4. Q4 is the latest in popular first person shooter franchise. This incarnation makes use of the Doom 3 engine to deliver polished graphics and follows the efforts of Corporal Matthew Kane and his fellows as they wage a desperate battle against the deadly Strogg. The game managed to earn a respectable 3.5 out 5 from Game Industry.
From the review:
Now six years after Quake III came out, the series finally receives a true sequel with Quake 4. However, the gameplay feels like it hasnít evolved with the graphics. Quake 4 takes place right after the events of Quake II. Despite the death of the Makron, the Strogg forces havenít backed down. That doesnít stop the human forces, and the next wave of attacks are underway. The Mac version, courtesy of Aspyr Media, should be available sometime in February. It can be pre-ordered from Macgamestore.
