PC GameWorld has a review of RHEM 2, an adventure puzzle developed by Got Game Entertainmentand published by Virtual Programming for the Mac. This review gave RHEM 2 a 65% of a possible 100%. The reviewer criticized the point and click gameplay of RHEM 2, video sequences, and lack of groundbreaking features. Regardess, there were a few bright spots including the graphics and appeal to fans of Myst and similar puzzle games.
Part of the problem is the point and click format. That worked for a number of games years ago and, of course, for the aforementioned “MYST” series, but the final nail has long since been driven into that coffin. These games are not as interesting as they once were, just as the old school text adventures (“Zork,” for example) stopped working once graphics surpassed the old blocky designs available on an RGB monitor.Please click on the links below to read the review and to learn more information about RHEM 2
