Fable: The Lost Chapters Interview 8:09 AM | Blake Buck | Comment on this story
Gamespot recently posted a new interview with Dene Carter, the creative director of Lionhead Studios about their latest game, Fable: The Lost Chapters (FTLC). FTLC is a real-time action-oriented roleplaying game with an emphasis on sandbox exploration. In this interview, Carters comments on new locations, quests, enemies, and characters in FTLC. From the Gamespot interview: GameSpot: So what can you tell us about the nine new areas in The Lost Chapters? Are they exotically different from the existing levels, or variations on the existing theme? And what sort of places will you explore?Dene Carter: Without giving too much away, we wanted to increase the number of towns, scary places, genuinely bizarre locations, and, frankly, good old-fashioned wilderness terrain. Several of the new locations have a snowy theme, being set in the Northern Wastes. Hook Coast introduced the player to a vaguely snowy region, but we've taken that a lot further in the new areas. FTLC is currently slated for a September 20th, PC release. Feral Interactive has already licensed the Mac version of the game, and should be available soon after the PC release. IMG will have more information on FTLC as it develops. To view the interview, click the link below.
