Apple has posted a new feature on Star Wars: Battlefront, the upcoming action/shooter that gives fans and gamers the opportunity to re-live and participate in all the classic Star Wars battles. The game is scheduled to ship in July and is being ported to the Mac by Aspyr Media.
Here's a clip from the feature:
Vader’s raspy breathing suddenly fills the air around us as he moves in to chop down a pair of Rebel commandos. The moment becomes a serendipitous introduction to the next topic, which concerns why you can’t play as one of the four Jedi heroes — Vader, Skywalker, Count Dooku and Mace Windu — who are sometimes available to aid your team in the game’s 17 maps, depending on the mode you’re playing.Star Wars: Battlefront is currently scheduled to ship in July. Macgamestore.com is currently taking pre-orders for the game.
“We wanted players to experience the most explosive action in the Star Wars universe from the front lines as an ordinary foot soldier,” Pettit says.
