Apple Features Star Wars: Battlefront 7:15 AM | Tuncer Deniz | Comment on this story
Apple has posted a new feature on Star Wars: Battlefront, the upcoming action/shooter that gives fans and gamers the opportunity to re-live and participate in all the classic Star Wars battles. The game is scheduled to ship in July and is being ported to the Mac by Aspyr Media. Here's a clip from the feature: Vader’s raspy breathing suddenly fills the air around us as he moves in to chop down a pair of Rebel commandos. The moment becomes a serendipitous introduction to the next topic, which concerns why you can’t play as one of the four Jedi heroes — Vader, Skywalker, Count Dooku and Mace Windu — who are sometimes available to aid your team in the game’s 17 maps, depending on the mode you’re playing.“We wanted players to experience the most explosive action in the Star Wars universe from the front lines as an ordinary foot soldier,” Pettit says. Star Wars: Battlefront is currently scheduled to ship in July. Macgamestore.com is currently taking pre-orders for the game.To check out the entire feature, please follow the link below.
