According to a report in The Wall Street Journal, Apple is talking with Intel, the world's largest chipmaker, about using their chips in future Macintosh lines. The article sites two industry executives with knowledge of recent discussions between the two companies. The report goes on to say that talks between Apple and Intel "could fail", as they have before. Or that Apple is engaging in negotiations with Intel to gain leverage over IBM.
