Apple today announced that CEO Steve Jobs will be kicking off its Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC 2005) with a special keynote on Monday, June 6th, 2005, starting at 10:00 AM at San Francisco's Moscone West.

WWDC 2005, which runs from June 6-10, will host more than 140 technical sessions with new content designed to serve a wide range of Mac developers, including tracks for making the most of Mac OS X 10.4 "Tiger," hands-on labs with the latest Mac systems and an opportunity to work developer-to-developer with the Apple engineers who created Tiger.

Apple recently extended the early registration period and is offering some great discounts on Tiger Early Start Kits and WWDC 2005 registrations that will be coming to an end soon. Until May 6h, you can register for a WWDC 2005 E-ticket and save $300 off the regular price.
