Rumor site ThinkSecret.com reports on a new job opening at Apple. According to a job application at Gamasutra, a recruiting site for the game industry, Apple is looking for a programmer with experience working with embedded systems and Flash. ThinkSecret speculates that Apple is looking for a programmer to write new games for the iPod, possibly utilising the color display to display Flash games.
From ThinkSecret's report:
"Flash experience" is another optional qualification, hinting that Apple may be adding Flash support to the iPod. Flash-based have taken off significantly on the Web in recent years, and their relatively lightweight footprint, coupled with a color screen, would make them ideal successors to the circa 1980 Brick and Parachute games currently featured on the iPod. "2D or 3D graphics programming" is the third and final optional qualification. To read more about the Job opening, head over to the link below.
