Macologist Reviews Star Wars Mods
9:11 AM | Eddie Park | Comment on this story
Macologist has posted a feature comparing several popular Star Wars themed mods for various titles. The mods in question include Warlords for Homeworld 2, a Battlefield 1942 mod titled Galactic Conquest, and Troopers, an Unreal Tournament 2004 mod.
The feature looka at each mod in detail, then proceeds to compare them to each other in terms of similarities and differences.
The general theme of Star Wars is all throughout all three of these mods. With the exception of Warlords, they do not place you in the position of a hero, such as Luke Skywalker, you do not have a light saber, and you are just as weak or as strong as any other person on the battlefield. In battles, people are always getting hurt. To have as many troops as possible in a battle, there always must be a way to heal you, or a teammate. In both mods (Galactic Conquest, and Troopers) There are healing stations spread around in different maps. A soldier does not want to run out of ammo either, so to fix that problem, Ammo Dispensers are also spread around maps.Players looking for a little Star Wars fix can find the feature at Macologist. Download links for two of the mods are also being offered there.
