Black Hawk Down: Team Sabre Reaches Final Candidate

Publisher Aspyr Media today listed the new expansion for Delta Force - Black Hawk Down, Team Sabre as reaching "Final Candidate" status. Team Sabre is due to ship next month. Marking a game as "Final Candidate" means that all beta issues have been cleared up and it has been submitted to the publisher for final approval. Once approved, the game will be sent off for duplication and distribution.

Team Sabre includes two new single player campaigns, a host of new weapons and transports, as well as the opportunity to play select missions as a British SAS soldier. Here's a sample of what to expect:

Assume the role of Delta Force, a US Ranger and, for the first time, play as a member of the British SAS. This expansion sends Delta Force on new missions with objectives such as, destroying an underground drug refinery, taking a mountain stronghold, infiltrating enemy oilfields, capturing a chemical weapons convoy, and more. Team Sabre also introduces new weapons, new vehicles, new terrains, 2 new single player campaigns, and 30 new multiplayer maps. Mod support for building unique multiplayer battlefields is also featured.
The expansion will require the original Delta Force - Black Hawk Down to run, and will retail for $19.99.

Head over to Aspyr's website for more information on the new expansion.
