Warcraft III Ladder Season Two

Blizzard fans may be enjoying World of Warcraft, but the company hasn't forgotten its roots, and is demonstrating that by kicking off a new ladder tournament for Warcraft III. Dubbed the Ladder Season Two tourney, the ladder includes both single and 2v2 matches that will go on until May 2, 2005.
Furthermore, Blizzard will be removing level caps on all four gateways:
To create additional incentives for ladder players to participate actively on the Battle.net ladders, we are removing the level and experience caps on all four Gateways. This change will allow players to increase their level beyond the current 50 maximum, and will paint a clearer picture of who the top ladder players truly are. Additional information about how these changes will impact ladder players can be found in the F.A.Q. Note that the ladders will not be reset. The ladder changes are designed to create a perpetual ladder environment without dampening motivation for players reaching a cap.A number of prizes are being offered, including donations from Alienware, Creative Labs, and Z-Board, in addition to cash prizes.
Good luck to all those competing!
