Winter Wolves Releases Supernova: Galactic Wars 1.0

Shareware makers Winter Wolves have recently released a new title for both the Mac and PC. Titled Supernova: Galactic Wars, this game features both strategy and arcade action. Players take turns moving ships across a chess-like board, and when two ships meet, the game changes over to an arcade-style battle between them. But how is the game played? Easy, you can move your ships on the battlefield like a chess game, and when 2 ships move in the same spot the arcade fun starts! You'll be able to fight against the other ship in realtime, using arrow keys to move and 1,2,3 or Z,X,C keys to shoot! A demo is currently downloadable from MacGameFiles, and allows players to try out the first 3 missions. Registering the game, which is set at $19.95, allows for full play of both the Story and Quickbattle modes.
