Apple's game website has done a joint feature on the latest WWII expansion packs for Aspyr Media's Battlefield 1942 and Call of Duty. The feature details the additional vehicles and weapons that Battlefield 1942: Secret Weapons of WWII brings to this online first person shooter.
From the feature:
You may be wondering when you missed the Wasserfall Rocket and the jetpack during your history class review of World War II. Actually, they’re two of the never-before-seen weapons and vehicles found in Secret Weapons, which takes a hard look at the Axis and Allied drawing boards of the period and presents what could have been. The feature shows off the new features of air combat and new story-lines in Call of Duty: United Offensive:
United Offensive continues the Call of Duty storyline by placing you in the boots of American Corporal Scott Riley, British S.O.E. operative James Doyle and Soviet conscript Yuri Petrenko as you lead the Allies to victory. Participate in the Battle of the Bulge, engage in air-to-air combat above the English Channel and join the fierce tank warfare at the Battle of Kursk. To read more about the new single and multiplayer maps and features that the two expansion packs bring to WWII gaming on the Mac, roll your mouse over the link below.
