London Law Board Game Free for the Mac
9:06 AM | Eddie Park | Comment on this story

A programmer by the name of Paul Pelzl has made available an online multiplayer version of the classic board game Scotland Yard. Titled London Law, the game has one player controlling a criminal known as Mr. X, who attempts to escape from 1-5 other players who attempt to track him down.

Mr. X has an advantage in access to transportation routes, and his precise location remains hidden for most of the game. The detectives have only the advantage of superior numbers, so they must work in concert to limit the criminal's options. London Law features an attractive map overlaid on high-resolution satellite imagery.
London Law is a free download, and is made to run under a variety of platforms. Pelzl also asks for feedback from Mac OS X users on successful implementations of his game.
