P-Edge Media's Martin van Spanje, creator of gaming tools for the Macintosh platform, has just released his dedicated server configuration utility for Aspyr Media's World War II first person shooter Medal Of Honor Allied Assault: Breakthrough.

Entitled Game Server Configulator Breakthrough (sic), the application provides a graphical interface to Aspyr's recently released, Console-driven Medal Of Honor Dedicated Server. The utility includes numerous features to aid administrators in running the game servers, including:

  • Ban players by their IP address
  • Auto-kick banned players
  • Finder document integration.
  • Auto-broadcast of server messages.
  • Auto-start server documents.
  • Dock icon shows amount of connected players.
  • Servers running van Spanje's new utility also get announced on his GSC Serverlist, an up-to-date online directory of up-and-running dedicated servers.

While the 1 MB application is free, a $1.50 USD donation to the author's Paypal account is encouraged. Server admins may also be interested in the author's other game server configurators for Aspyr's MoH: Allied Assault, MoHAA: Spearhead, Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, and Call of Duty.
