DOOM 3 Expansion Pack Announced

id Software and Activision today announced the official expansion pack for DOOM 3, entitled DOOM 3: Resurrection of Evil. The expansion pack is being co-developed with Nerve Software and id Software. A release date was not given.

Through the discovery of a timeless and evil artifact you now hold the powers of Hell in your hands, and the demons have come to hunt you down and take it back. Following the events of DOOM 3 and featuring new locations, characters and weapons, including the return of the double-barreled shotgun, DOOM 3: Resurrection of Evil expands the terrifying action that fans and critics have been raving about. The title will require the full retail version of DOOM 3, and has not yet been rated by the ESRB.A Mac version of DOOM 3 has been announced but details on who the publisher is haven't been announced just yet. Stay tuned to IMG for upcoming information on the Mac version of DOOM 3.
