Men Of Valor Coming In December

One day after Vivendi Universal Games announced that the PC version of the upcoming first person shooter Men Of Valor had gone gold, publishers Aspyr Media announced yesterday that the Mac version of the title will be shipping in mid-December -- just in time for the holiday season.
Men Of Valor is a new first person shooter developed by Oklahoma-based 2015, creators of the award-winning Medal Of Honor: Allied Assault series. The new title is a Vietnam-based shooter in which players battle through the jungles of Southeast Asia either as U.S. soldiers or Viet Cong guerillas. The single player campaign places players in the shoes of U.S. Marine Dean Shepard, seeing him through most of the major battles of the conflict, from the early stages of the police action to the Tet Offensive.
The title, built on top of Epic's Unreal engine, is based on real tours of duty of U.S. troops from 1965 to 1968. The new title features a whole arsenal of authentic weaponry and detailed environments, created for the game under the supervision of military advisors.
In an effort to bring the Mac port to market in an unusually short turnaround period, Aspyr Media's internal development team is collaborating closely with Vivendi, the publisher of the PC and Xbox versions of the game, in order to make the Mac version of the game available to the public before the end of the year. The game is expected to be released in less than six weeks.
