The award-winning developers over at Blizzard Entertainment announced over the weekend that the European close beta of their highly-anticipated MMORPG World Of Warcraft has started.
Following the patch updates released last week to North American and Korean beta testers, European testers will be given access to the very latest version of the game. Beta testers worldwide will forthwith be notified by email about upcoming game patches and updates, which will be made available simultaneously to players on all three continents. And while the English version of the game will be the first offered to players, localised French and German versions will soon be introduced to the testing process.
Hand in hand with this new phase of the closed beta, Blizzard has started the new official European forums for beta testers of the upcoming title. While the English version are currently the only forums to see any activity, the bulletin boards are a place for testers to keep up to speed with the latest news regarding the long-awaited title. Blizzard has assured testers that the bilingual forums will be made available in conjunction with the German and French version rollouts.
According to different sources on the internet, the World of Warcraft beta is going extremely well, and the game is expected to ship before the end of the year.
