Amidst all the Unreal Tournament 2004 news that's been making the headlines here at IMG over the past seven days, we've neglected to bring to your attention that a new version of the Unreal Tournament 2004 demo is now available, complete with support for new game types, new maps, and new features. Bad news editors. Bad.

Version 3334 of the demo includes all the bug fixes and technical changes included with the latest version of the full retail version of the game. The new version of the demo now also contains two new maps - the Onslaught Primeval map, as well as the revered Capture The Flag FaceClassic, a direct translation of the popular UT '99 CTF map.

The new demo, weighing in at just over 200 MB, now also includes support for the instagib CTF game type, and has been patched so that demo servers are now compatible with the full version clients. In plain english: owners of the full retail version can hop onto computers hosting the demo.

The new demo of the popular online first person shooter is available over at IMG's sister site MacGameFiles, and is available through the links below, while the full version is available over at the IMG Store for $39.95 USD:
