GarageGames recently announced that they will be holding a competition for their game, Dark Horizons:Lore entitled the MavLympics. Using the MAV robots from the game, players will compete in various Olympic style events such as the high jump and fencing. Here's the full release:
Dark Horizons: Lore (DH:L) is a persistent player, first-person shooter, set in a post war world where players fight to gain control of the United States using remotely piloted Mechanized Assault Vehicles (MAVs). GarageGames Challenges All to Dark Horizons: Lore MavLympics
The MavLympics website will contain all information on a day by day basis. It will allow players to register for events and track their progress.
