GarageGames recently announced that they will be holding a competition for their game, Dark Horizons:Lore entitled the MavLympics. Using the MAV robots from the game, players will compete in various Olympic style events such as the high jump and fencing. Here's the full release: Dark Horizons: Lore (DH:L) is a persistent player, first-person shooter, set in a post war world where players fight to gain control of the United States using remotely piloted Mechanized Assault Vehicles (MAVs). The MavLympics taking place, Oct 1st-3rd, will allow these MAVs to compete in various human-like sports in an effort to win hardware prizes from top gaming companies like ATI and Sennheiser.The MavLympics website will contain all information on a day by day basis.
