Only three weeks after the last update, Shrapnel Games has released yet another patch for their turn-based, fantasy strategy game Dominions II: The Ascension Wars. The 2.14 update fixes a number of performance bugs that would crash the game during normal in-game procedures; The new patch also addresses a small number of minor gameplay quirks. The Mac OS patch, weighing in at 2.4 MB, is available from the developer's website, however the developers warn that while the new patch is fully compatible with the 2.12 and 2.13 versions of the game, players participating in multiplayer games should stick with the same version as the host computer. Updating the client version before the host version may lead to problems as the battles may not display correctly.
