The Indie Games Conference 2004, the yearly conference for independent game developers, is now accepting registrations for this year's event.
The gathering, hosted by Torque game engine developers GarageGames, gives the opportunity for indie and professional game developers alike to meet and greet, and speak on the issues closest to their hearts. Representatives from several different hardware manufacturers and of course, the GarageGames staff will also be on hand.
An impressive collection of industry luminaries will be speaking at the event. Following the keynote address by Gamehouse CEO Garr Godfrey, twenty-three different speakers will provide panel and groups discussions on a wide variety of game design topics, ranging from business issues, complex game design theory, artistic techniques, and, of course, a few presentations regarding the ins and outs of the Torque game engine. The event will be book-ended by the return of the Indie Jam session, and a late-night LAN party.
Early bird registration for the event, taking place October 8th to 10th of this year in Eugene, Oregon, costs $150, while registration fees climb up to $195 after September 17th. Click on the link below for more information on the event.
