Inside Mac Games' Ted Bade has posted a new review of Daedalic Entertainment's Goodbye Deponia. The third and final installment in Daedalic Entertainment's award winning Deponia adventure series focuses on hapless anti-hero Rufus, his girfriend Goal, and their unwavering quest to leave the junk planet of Deponia behind for the lofty heights of Elysium city.
Here's an excerpt:
Players familiar with the series will be happy to hear that Rufus and Goal finally have a chance to reach Elysium. However, it is a long way from the start of this game to that chance. This game is filled with many challenges along with Daedelicís typical humor and sarcasm. I found myself smiling at the antics of the many characters, as I helped bring them to a fitting end. IMG Review: Goodbye Deponia
The Deponia series is a light hearted and rather silly adventure filled with a variety of moderate to difficult puzzles which need to be solved to progress through the game. To really understand this world, it would not hurt to play the first two games in the series, but it isnít really required. While the game references earlier events, you donít need to know anything about them to do well in this installment of the series.

Diablo III: Reaper Of Souls Previewed

AusGamers recently posted another segment in its on going preview of Diablo III: Reaper of Souls, the upcoming first expansion for the fantasy based action RPG. Based on a closed beta version of Reaper of Souls the article this time includes information about the new Crusader class, and the ambience of the new city of Westmarch,
The Crusader by nature is a holy warrior, one looking to purge the world of evil, and their skill-set reflects this by being full of special attacks and skills that deal in holy damage Ė a category separate to the more common fire, ice and lightning, that although look similar have the distinct advantage of righteous fury. Their Fist of the Heavens secondary attack is not only powerful but a great piece of visual carnage as a chunky lightning bolt hits multiple enemies causing pretty big splash damage -- making it perfect for crowd control. The same goes for the Falling Sword attack, which sends the Crusader momentarily to heaven itself for some extra demon slaying juice where they can even call on a few friends to help out when they fall back down and crash headfirst into a group of demon spawn Ė a pretty common sight in Westmarch, where the expansionís new Act takes place.Check out the full article at the link below.
