Wasteland 2 Demo Footage Revealed

In a recent blog post InXile Entertainment offered a new video from the upcoming Wasteland 2 RPG. The footage features 18 minutes of gameplay from the prison demo level. A sequel to the classic post-apocalyptic RPG of the 80's, Wasteland 2 will be a top down, turn-based, tactical RPG that the developers promise will "stay true to its roots."
This area was not built purely for demoing purposes and it is a straight video capture. While the level will be further polished and improved (we’re missing a bunch of sounds among other things), it gives you a sense of the final game flow. The level was the winner of an internal competition process (as mentioned last update). This is only a tiny fraction of the game which is very hard to show in a 20 minute update. It represents about 1/3rd of the prison map and isn’t even one of the larger levels, so you can imagine it can be tricky for us to share enough without too many spoilers or overwhelming you.Learn more at the links below.

Another particular focus of the video is showing the game’s progression, which highlights the back-and-forth communication with you, our backers. From the renaming of the characteristics into the CLASSIC acronym to our multiple iterations on the UI based on very direct but very useful feedback from our fans (and it is still customizable to your tastes, for example you can configure the text window depending on how much you want it to show).

Cockroaches do survive everything, even a nuclear war: This is what story and gameplay of Daedalic Entertainment’s upcoming 3D adventure game Journey of a Roach are about.Check out the Blue's News page below to see the new screens.
Journey Of A Roach (add to watch list)
Journey of a Roach, developed by the Swiss team of Koboldgames, in co-operation with Daedalic Entertainment, takes players to a sarcastic, post-apocalyptic world: Roach Jim and his sidekick Bud are out and about to find their way from a deserted vault to the Earth’s surface. Players steer them through classic point & click adventure game puzzles. Certain challenges can be overcome by using the roache’s natural features, though: Being roaches, Jim and Bud have the ability to crawl up walls and on ceilings, as well as on items. Players use the third-insect-perspective to guide Jim and Bud through the 3D comic world. There will be no written or spoken dialogues in Journey of a Roach, by the way, as the insects are using their very own, easily understandable signal language.
Koboldgames and Daedalic Entertainment scheduled Journey of a Roach for release in November 2013, for PC and Mac.
