Independent developer KING Art Games has successfully concluded its Kickstarter campaign aiming to gather funds for the completion of Battle Worlds: Kronos. The turn-based strategy title is inspired by classics in the genre such as Battle Isle and Advance Wars. Set on an alien world with multiple factions, each with its own set of strengths and weaknesses, the game will feature two unique single player campaigns as well as multiplayer warfare.

With Battle Worlds: Kronos you'll get:
  • True, challenging turn-based strategy gameplay.
  • Get the FULL game in a box or as a download, nothing less.
  • No DLC scheme, no micro-transactions.
  • No DRM. No “always-on” necessity. Pinkie swear.
What’s In The Game?

Here are some of the key features that will be in the game:

Strong AI - A clever AI that considers gameplay on various tactical and strategic levels as well as individual enemy characteristics will challenge even experienced commanders.

Map Editor - A powerful editor to create your own maps and missions.

6:00 AM | Cord Kruse | Comment on this story

Blizzard Entertainment has posted a new preview article showcasing upcoming additions to its fantasy MMO, World of Warcraft. The posting offers information about Deepwind Gorge and The Tiger's Peak, two new Battlegrounds with unique settings and conditions.

The war between the Horde and the Alliance continues to escalate as both factions vie to claim Pandaria’s resources as their own. Deep within the Valley of the Four Winds, the mines of Deepwind Gorge serve as a Battleground where victory is measured not in fallen foes, but in gold. High atop the majestic mountains of Kun-Lai Summit, the Tiger’s Peak Arena—training ground of the Shado-Pan—tests the mettle of all who enter its perilous boundaries.
