IMG Reviews Tiny & Big In GrandPa's Leftovers

Inside Mac Games has posted a new review of CrimsonCow's Tiny & Big in GrandPa's Leftovers. The physics based action title puts players in the role of Tiny, a man with a ray gun and a rope device, who must locate his nemesis Big to retrieve a pair of stolen underpants. The game features a unique hand drawn look, believable physics, and a character driven storyline.
Cutting objects with the laser gun is easy. The challenge here is to get the angle right as well as being sure you donít accidentally cut some object behind it, making it more difficult or even impossible to continue. Itís also a good idea to avoid cutting things so they fall on top of Tiny! Another challenge is not falling. Many of the paths can be narrow, and a wrong step, or cutting the floor underneath can cause Tiny to fall and die. Almost all of the areas have an edge that is high above the ground. Itís a great view, but there is nothing stopping you from falling. Sadly, the grapple hook doesnít work to pull you back up or to break your fall.Read more at the link below.

Farm Girl At The Nile (add to watch list)
Establish a farm at the edge of the pyramids! Completely new conditions require completely new management on the farm under the Egyptian's sun. You need to adapt your manufacturing and your offerings to the current marketing situation Ė how about growing papyrus or an ostrich farm? Sandstorms, water shortages or annoying crocodiles from the Nile shouldn't prevent you from building up a premiere farm.
Don't just watch your current facilities, invest in new technologies, too.

Keen Software House has announced the release of Miner Wars Arena. The 2.5D arcade title drops players behind the controls of a mining spaceship and gives them the task of hacking through asteroids and blasting their enemies: either computer AI opponents or another player.
I am delighted to announce the release of Miner Wars Arena, our new fast-paced arcade game inspired by the PC gaming classic, Tunneler. It features a state-of-the-art top-down view, 2.5D gameplay in a fully destructible environment, and on the edge split-screen out of the box. Itís a total blast! You really need to try it at our website.Miner Wars Arena is DRM free and available now for $9.99.

Miner Wars Arena was a bit of a surprise to everyone. It wasnít planned at first. But I was tempted by an idea of making a little brother to the six-degrees-of-freedom Miner Wars 2081. I figured that 2.5D top-down gameplay would be easier for players to understand and orient themselves within.
In the end we decided it would be best to create two completely separate games: 2081 and Arena. I believe this was the right decision, because now we have the best of both worlds.
When I sent the prototype of Miner Wars Arena to our investors, however, they were a little upset with me. Why? Because they didnít get any work done that day! They spent the whole day playing our game! Thatís how addictive it is...
You must see for yourself! This game will bring you to your roots! Even if you're under the age of 18, and don't really have video game roots that go far enough to feel it will bring you to your roots, that's how rooted you'll feel! Miner Wars Arena is available for both Windows and Mac, but perhaps if people nagged us about it we might figure a way to put it on your phone.
Warning: You might get bad grades at school over it... you might abandon your old friend solitaire... and please remember to feed your pets!
Enjoy unlimited gameplay variation by adjusting arena settings, such as terrain, map size, number of AI-controlled bots, technology level...
- Fully destructible environment
- Fast, adrenaline-pumping action!
- Intuitive controls
- Skirmish, Tournament & Split-Screen (2 Players on 1 PC), Protect The Generator (Special Edition only)
- 10 awesome upgrades and power-ups
- Compete for high-scores & unlock various achievements!
- Earn up to 12 military ranks!

World Of Warcraft 5.0.4 Introduces New Talent System
6:00 AM | Cord Kruse | 3 comments
Blizzard Entertainment has released a new update for its fantasy MMO, World of Wacraft. The patch brings the game to version 5.0.4 and offers a variety of bug fixes and balance adjustments. Also in the update is the introduction of the new talent system which includes a number of new abilities and many changes for the various classes. To help players adjust to the new elements Blizzard has posted a "survival guide" with advice for adjusting to all the updates.
Certainly one of the biggest changes coming in 5.0.4 is the new talent system, and with that comes a ton of changes and new spells and abilities, but before we get to that, a number of changes have been made that can impact how you play your class. These range from minor to major, but almost all specs have altered rotations, and a few have been completely redesigned. Once the patch launches be prepared to spend a little time reacquainting yourself with each ability, and setting your action bars up.Check out the links below to learn more.
