Crossing Over: Tomb Raider 1-3

Inside Mac Games has posted the latest article in Justin Ancheta's continuing series of guides. The articles offer detailed instructions for running Windows versions of game titles which either never made it to Macs, or have Mac versions incompatible with recent OS releases. This week Justin turned his attention to the first three Tomb Raider titles.
Here's an excerpt:
Few game characters have generated as much controversy and discussion as Lara Croft. With all of the talk surrounding what she represents for both women and men in gaming and the popular media, Lara is one of the few characters in video games that arguably entered the mainstream consciousness almost purely on the strength of the controversy that she generated. Compared to characters like Mario, Sonic, or Link, Lara's fame arose not because of who she was, but because of what others thought of her, or perhaps, what others projected on to her. Beneath the surface image of a globe-trotting young female treasure hunter was almost an empty vessel, into to which the player could pour whatever notion of her personality that he or she carried going into the game.Read more at the page below.

Telepath Tactics Adds User Created Single Player Campaigns

Sinister Design has posted a new blog article about development on Telepath Tactics, this time revealing the game will support an unlimited number of user created single player campaigns. Set in the world of the Telepath RPG universe, the turn-based multiplayer tactics game will feature support for up to six players in hotseat mode, a new art style, redesigned UI, and a new combat engine.
Telepath Tactics now supports user-created campaigns! You may recall me mentioning last month that Telepath Tactics will have a single player campaign. Well, why limit it to just one? The game now supports an unlimited number of user-created single player campaigns, each with their own custom characters, battles, enemies, items, attacks, dialog, and even cut scenes.Click on the link below to read the rest of the update on the game's progress.
Telepath Tactics August Update
All it takes to add a new campaign to your copy of the game is to download the campaign as a zipped folder, then unzip it into the Campaigns sub-folder; Telepath Tactics will automatically recognize the new campaign and add it to the list for you play. Simple as that! Creating a new campaign is simple, too: just create a new folder, copy-paste the game’s default .xml files, then start editing and creating maps using any standard text editor and the Telepath Tactics map editor program.
