Trine 2 Coming To European Mac Users Later This Year

Focus Home Interactive has announced a partnership with Frozenbyte to release retail and digital versions of Trine 2 for Mac and Windows PCs in Europe during the fourth quarter of this year. Trine 2 once again centers around the adventures of knight, thief, and wizard heroes as they work to solve physics based puzzles and unravel an epic mystery.

Trine 2 is set for Q4 2011 in Europe for PC/Mac retail and digital release, and takes gamers on another adventure with the powerful knight Pontius, the swift thief Zoya and the crafty wizard Amadeus. The three heroes embark on a new adventure more fantastic than ever, where you will have to survive lethal traps and terrifying monsters, solve many physics-based puzzles and unravel an epic mystery during a challenging campaign that can be played either solo or in co-op with up to 3 players online or offline! Featuring stunningly sumptuous visuals, a masterful original soundtrack, and clever physics-based gameplay, Trine 2 is the perfect mix of old-school platforming action, original physics-based level design, and cooperative multiplayer fun!

Trine 2 will be available in Europe as a Standard Edition and as a Collector's Edition that features an exclusive CD soundtrack. The North American version of the game is planned for a Fall 2011 release.

Legend Of Grimrock First Gameplay Video Unveiled

Indie game developer Almost Human has released screenshots and the first gameplay video for Legend of Grimrock. The new game in development for Mac, Windows PC, and iOS device is an old school dungeon crawler which puts players in the role of a prisoner exiled to Mount Grimrock. To escape they must form a party and escape through Grimrock's ancient tunnels and dungeons.

The first gameplay video of Legend of Grimrock reveals the dark dungeon surroundings the player is going to roam. The video features two enemy types, giant snails and spiders, as well as combat and spellcasting. Look out for weapons, armor, spells and clear your way through the dungeons and ultimately out of Mount Grimrock to freedom. About Legend of Grimrock
Legend of Grimrock is a dungeon crawling game inspired by oldschool classics of the genre while still bringing its own twists to the game. The game features survival, combat, magic, puzzles and role-playing elements. The player is a prisoner sentenced to death and exiled to the secluded Mount Grimrock for vile crimes he may or may not have committed. Unbeknownst to his captivators, the mountain is riddled with ancient tunnels and dungeons. The player's mission is to form a team and escape by descending through the mountain, level by level. During the journey the player encounters mysterious puzzles, deadly traps, ancient tombs and horrible monsters left behind by crumbled civilizations long perished now.

Hector: Badge Of Carnage Episode 2 Released

Straandlooper Animation and Telltale games have announced the release of the next episode in the Hector: Badge of Carnage adventure series. In Hector: Badge of Carnage Episode 2 - Senseless Acts of Justice players must assist Hector in his efforts to track down a psycopath.

‘Hector: Badge of Carnage Episode 2 - Senseless Acts of Justice’ sees our anti-hero hunting a psychopath and pulled down a twisted trail of meat, sin, sleaze, and more meat. The new game promises to be even more crude and distasteful than the first in the series. The adventure introduces gamers to a whole host of new environments and colourful characters from the world of Clappers Wreake - the crime-ridden town in the armpit of Great Britain.

‘Hector: Badge of Carnage Episode 2 - Senseless Acts of Justice’ features almost twice the gameplay as the original game as Straandlooper have attempted to create the funniest, crudest and most distasteful point & click adventure game ever.
