Burn Zombie Burn Invades Macgamestore.com
6:00 AM | IMG News | 1 comment

Kavcom's Burn Zombie Burn is now available for purchase and download from the Macgamestore.com online store. The arcade action title puts players in the role of Bruce who must slaughter as many zombie attackers as possible in a variety of colorful and explosive ways.

Welcome to the char-grilled world of Burn Zombie Burn, where the best type of undead is barbequed undead.

The goals are simple: keep Bruce alive, as he tries to keep Daisy alive, and get the highest score possible. Standing (well, ambling) in your way is a never ending horde of the rotting, stinking and stupid undead. Fortunately our mild-mannered hero Bruce can get hold of some tasty weaponry. Burn, batter, shoot, maim, blow up, mince, and obliterate as many zombies as possible before they make Bruce their dinner…

Flaming zombies are faster and more dangerous than regular uncooked zombies. But burning zombies drop better pickups and act as a score multiplier – light ‘em up, score big, and have fun.

Features:

  • In game Tutorial, prepares you to fight the undead
  • A hoard of zombie types – dancers, exploders, armoured, infectious, and fire-farting super zombies
  • An arsenal of weaponry – bats, guns of all sizes, chain saw, flamethrower, lawnmower, brain gun and groovy dance gun
  • Big red button – use weapon combos to enable the big red button and trigger unique level events
  • A healthy range of explosives – upgrade your everyday TNT for increasingly destructive explosives and mines
  • A truck load of pick-ups – ammo, defence for daisy, rampage, speed, time, TNT, TNT range and type upgrades, and junk food health boosters
  • 6 infinite play arenas – The Woods, Graveyard, Suburbia, Drive-in, Army Base, Secret Lab
  • 3 game modes – Free Play, Defend Daisy and Timed
  • 10 challenges with alternate styles of play
  • Super un-lockable bonuses including multiple game rendering modes

IMG Reviews The Sims Medieval
6:00 AM | IMG News | Comment on this story

Inside Mac Games has posted a new review of TransGaming's The Sims Medieval. The standalone sim game gives players the tools to create heroes, take them on quests, build up their kingdom and "tell epic stories full of drama, romance, and comedy."

Here's an excerpt from the review:

If you play more to have quick bursts of fun and relax, however, this is the perfect Sims for you. There are only two need bars, hunger and energy, so the daily grind is greatly diminished. Instead, you have objectives throughout the quest you are currently completing that you have to finish within a certain timeframe. If you do them too slowly, your quest ranking lowers and you end up with a much worse reward upon the quest's completion. The reward is your primary way to create new buildings and create new heroes, so that can cripple your kingdom before it starts. The new focus just makes it easier to focus on the cool things like having your blacksmith gather all the rare materials for a Doomstaff or dueling the knights of the realm with your monarch. You can easily finish a quest in an hour or two once you get into the groove, so The Sims: Medieval is perfect for those quick bursts of fun between meals and work.
