IMG Reviews Hordes Of Orcs 2

Inside Mac Games has posted a new review of Freeverse's fantasy tower defense title, Hordes of Orcs 2. The sequel follows the events which occur after "The Glowing Portal of Really Bad Things That We Should Have Bricked-Up a Long Time Ago" has been foolishly un-bricked again, and the Orcs return. Hordes of Orcs 2 features an upgraded arsenal, new enemy units, improved AI, and six different game modes.
Here's an excerpt from the review:
In Freeverse's variant, you face off against the titular Hordes of Orcs who are trying to destroy your village, pillage your treasure, make off with your gems or other dastardly deeds. It's all very Warcraft-esque as the orcs come through a glowing portal in every map. You have 6 different towers, a wall, and 4 magic spells to aid your orc stopping missions. In the basic mode orcs start at one side of the map, and simply wish to go through the portal on the other side where your tasty village awaits destruction.Click over to the link below to read the full review.
IMG Review: Hordes Of Orcs 2
You start with a small amount of gold, and a brief period in which to place a tower or two before they start coming through. Do you buy several arrow towers, or spend more on an expensive fire tower? There is a small amount of strategy to what you pick, because not only are you limited by your gold, but some orcs have a resistance to a tower type, which forces you to mix up your towers or face failure as the waves gets harder. Been zapping those orcs with a row of lightning towers? Well, you won't be laughing when a wave of mini lightning orcs runs right by them into your portal.

World Of Warcraft: Cataclysm Reviewed

AtomicGamer has posted a new preview of Blizzard Entertainment's Cataclysm expansion for World of Warcraft. Cataclysm will allow players to adventure as two new playable races, bring their characters to level 85, take on challenging quests and dungeons in all-new zones, and experience dramatic changes to familiar aspects of the game in the wake of a world-shattering disaster.
Most of the world has been bashed apart, opened up, redesigned, and made much more interesting, and the quests have been redone in the much more easy-to-digest style that Blizzard's been doing the past couple of years. You won't be running around between multiple zones, searching for two quests over in Desolace before dropping back to Stranglethorn Vale for another pair - instead, the quest hub system that's been so popular in Wrath of the Lich King is here, along with more enhancements to the phasing system that changes the visible world around to match your quest progress. As seen in the last expansion, phasing is a fantastic system that really makes you feel like you're making a difference, even if you're keenly aware that every other player gets the exact same experience when they go through.Visit the page below to read the full preview.

The total experience from levels 1 to 60 has been redone for all players, not just for those who buy Cataclysm, with the entire quest line for both continents revamped or just thrown out in favor of entirely new adventures. As of patch 4.0.3 this week, the world has been torn asunder by the big, bad new villain, the dragon named Deathwing, and almost all zones have been changed as a result - some drastically. When the actual expansion is launched on December 7th, a range of new features are going to be unlocked, like the level cap increase to 85, new races, new class options for existing races, and the ability to fly in Azeroth like people do in Outland and Northrend. Let's go into some of these new features.
