Aspyr Bringing The Sims 2: Nightlife to OS X
8:05 AM | Andy Largent | 16 comments

Aspyr Media announced this morning the next expansion pack for the incredibly popular series of Sim games, The Sims 2: Nightlife. This second add-on pack, which Aspyr expects to be done in March, allows players to take their Sims out on the town in their own cars to do new activities like DJ'ing, Karaoke and more.

Here's a clip from the Aspyr notice:

Your Sims are on the town hitting all the swanky hot spots. Whether they're dancing until dawn, romancing that special someone, or striking out at the bowling alley, it'll be an unforgettable night! Let your Sims loose to enjoy their favorite after-dark activities as they pursue a life of pleasure. Determine their love lives as you discover the chemistry between Sims. Will their life aspirations and personalities click or clash? It could be the beginning of a stormy affair or a dating disaster. Ready for fun and romance? Bring on the night!
For more information, check out EA's official site, and stay tuned for more from IMG in the future on the status of Nightlife.

8:05 AM | Cord Kruse | Comment on this story

Macworld's Game Room has posted a review of Macjoy's Bricks of Camelot. BoC is a brick bashing game in the style of Breakout and Arkanoid. The game features a Medieval theme, 120 levels, and a variety of powerups. The Game Room gave Bricks of Camelot 3.5 mice out of 5.

From the review:

The game offers a total of 120 levels of gameplay, though you’ll have to complete groups of levels (called Level Packs) to unlock new ones. A Level Pack includes eight levels and features a variety of backgrounds, including Castle Camelot, the Dungeons, Sherwood Forest, Abandoned Ruins, and the Tower. You can also choose from multiple levels of difficulty. The game’s settings window lets you adjust sound effects and music volume, bat speed, and ball color, as well as toggle between full screen or windowed mode.
