Mini Stubbs the Zombie Interview
8:34 AM | Eddie Park | 1 comment
Wideloadgames.org has posted a short, rather interesting interview with Matt Soell of Wideload Games. With their current project Stubbs the Zombie in the works, the focus of the interview somehow settles upon zombie flatuence, mainly focusing on how it was created.
The zombie fart sound is built from five or six separate effects, twisted and warped and edited beyond recognition. It consists mostly of canned fart effects from sound libraries, but they are mixed together with one or two live performances (so to speak) from Mitch Apley, who also provided Stubbs' belch for the trailer we released a while back. Also available at the site are some links to some new sound samples from the upcoming game, including shorts from the soundtrack CD.
