Aspyr Media announced they have dropped prices on a number of their games. The list of games and new prices are as follows:

Ubisoft Gives 15 Days to Past Shadowbane Subscribers

To celebrate the latest Shadowbane patch, Ubisoft has decided that all previous subscribers in good standing will receive fifteen free days starting today.
These free days have been given because:
a lot of changes have been made to Shadowbane over the past few months, which has really improved the gaming experience. Many bugs and service-related issues that may have compelled people to leave the game have since been fixed. Aspyr To Release Four New Battlefield 1942 Maps

Aspyr Media has announced that the company will be releasing four new Battlefield 1942 maps this coming Friday. The maps are similar to those released for the PC and cover Remagen, Faid Pass, The Great Pursuit, and Operation Forager. All four maps will be available as free downloads this Friday at Macgamefiles.com.

Quake 2 Mod on Doom 3

A thread has been posted to the Blue's News website talking about an upcoming mod for Doom 3. The mod, Q2-Doom3, will turn Doom 3 into the classic game Quake 2.
The thread includes links to three screenshots of the mod in action. One of the people behind the mod, Thearrel 'Kiltron' McKinney of Futrix Studios, states that the mod will be available from website The Mean Arena when it is finished.
